Story Read Alouds I-V:

The Read Aloud program has been introduced to cultivate a love for reading from a young age. Through grades I-III students are encouraged to recognize, read and understand stories with the help of multimedia. Grades IV & V are encouraged to understand and follow a story by only listening.  Based on the stories read students participate in activities that help them make text to life connections. These activities include art, creative writing, dramatization and so on. The books are selected grade-wise, keeping in mind the students’ grasping power and language levels. Grades I & II work predominantly with picture books, grade III onwards students work with text heavy books. Grade V makes the transition to novels.
