The Boy at the Back of the class
Author: Onjali Q Rauf
I read The Boy at the Back of the Class and I really enjoyed it. The story is about a new boy named Ahmet who comes to the class. He was a new student. He does not talk much at first and everyone wonders why. Later we learn that he is a refugee who ran away from war in his country named Syria.
The narrator and his friends who were in the same class of Ahmet try to help him and make him feel welcome. I also like how they were kind and brave. They even try to help Ahmet find his family whom he lost when he was travelling from Syria. This part was very interesting. And showed that children can also do big things.

The book teaches us to be kind to new people and to understand their problems. It also shows that friendships can make someone feel safe and happy.
I think this is a very good book to read. It is easy to read and has an important message in it.
